Wellington, 7 May 2025 – Our Cultural Ambassadors, Pramisha Khadka and Shristi Sapkota delivered a vibrant and heartfelt performance representing Nepalese culture at the Hutt City Council’s South-South East New Year Celebrations. Their presence lit up the event with traditional Nepalese attire, music, and dance, beautifully weaving the rich tapestry of Nepal’s heritage into the multicultural celebration. With grace, pride, and passion, Pramisha and Shristi served as powerful representatives of our community, showcasing not just talent, but also the deep-rooted values and spirit of Nepalese tradition.
We extend our deepest gratitude to both Pramisha and Shristi for their dedication and for being such inspiring cultural ambassadors. Your time, energy, and commitment to promoting Nepalese identity in a diverse setting is truly commendable. Thank you for making our community proud.
This cultural representation was made possible through the initiative and support of Deepak Gautam, former Treasurer of the society, and Samjhana Khatri, a general member, both of whom are currently working at Hutt City Council. Their efforts to promote Nepalese culture and enhance the event with traditional Nepalese cuisine added depth and flavour to the celebration.
Thank you for making our community proud.
