The Nepalese Society of Wellington for the Community

The Nepalese Society of Wellington Inc. was established in 2007 to serve the growing Nepalese community in Wellington. As the community expanded, there was a need for a platform that would bring people together, preserve and promote Nepali culture, and provide opportunities to celebrate shared traditions, values, and beliefs. This vision, driven by a group of Nepalese residents in Wellington, laid the foundation for the Society.

Since its establishment, The Nepalese Society of Wellington has organised a wide range of educational, cultural, religious, social, and sporting activities. Through these initiatives, the Society continues to foster community connection, promote mutual support and cooperation, and contribute to the wellbeing and integration of the Nepalese community in Wellington.
