On the auspicious occasion of New Year 2022, the Nepalese Society of Wellington has hosted a Picnic and Topi/ Posak Diwas. Today, around 80 people, including children and children, took part. Everyone enjoyed the sunny day at Raumati Marine Gardens, which is only a short drive from Wellington. Everyone had a good time on this beautiful day with music, dance, games and laughter. We had cooked full course meals on the spot, which reflected the Nepalese method of enjoying picnics. We at TNSW want to express our gratitude to everyone who has assisted us in various way to make this event a success.
